Thank You, bloggers!

I just have to let all of Lara's very special blog friends know how grateful I was to get so many birthday wishes! I can honestly tell you it set a wonderful start to the day! YOU made my day! What an affect you had on my spirit, so I have to let you know you were wonderful! And Hilary, your singing Happy Birthday in a Snow White costume was awesome! I'll expect that every year now!

Happy New Year to all of you and hopefully a great one for all of us!

Let's Get Real!

Before I seriously record our adventures this Christmas, I have to say onething about reading some of the blogs out there! They are seriously, too sickly sweet, maybe too phony concerning life and my daugher hooked me up to the blog called seriouslysoblessed.blogspot.com http:// whose blog is a satire on those who write "my life is so wonderful" bit! Honestly, I LOVE real people, who speak refreshingly honest and give us all hope and reassurance we are doing okay. I have even found myself being alittle too too. So my New's Year's Blog resolution will be of one thing, "Get Real"! In fact I am going to change my blog to "Get Real" not Out to lunch anymore! I am really sick of this everything is just wonderful and they don't have problems they don't face problems nor do they solve problems. Let's just all be "happy" ;and get along, but let's not admit we are wrong, or try to resolve things or anything like that. I have to say right here, I am very grateful for my children who are real, honest, straight forward, problem solving people! Whose words mean a lot to me as THEY write! So refreshing!!!

Beautiful Day!

Merry Christmas everyone! Well, it has been a wonderful day, with the joyous noises of Brayden and Daxton who are just so darling, especially how little Daxton just adores his father and Brayden is such a jokester! It was wonderful having those two little ones around today! Christmas just isn't Christmas without the sounds of little children playing with their new stuff! Hearing from Bria, Chloe and Sophia and their excitement of receving so many fun things from Santa was a delight!
My Christmas was very nice myself, as I received a beautiful birthstone ring from dad and a beautiful letter from Nate. If there is anything that is so meaningful is receiving letters from my children. I also wrote one to each child and watched them read theirs as they all opened them up! It was so cool! I think that is what makes Christmas, is giving of ourselves to each in the spirit of love.
Some things I just have to wait for, but I keep hoping it will happen, only in the Lords' time I suppose.
Love to all!

Babbling on Christmas Eve!

Okay, so this is Christmas Eve and a big snow storm is coming, the biggest of this season yet! Which, by the way, we do need! I've made all these yummy appetizers for us to just snack on and play games. My friend, Kathie, gave me a DVD of us singing 20 years ago for a Christmas show, (professional mind you)and I just got done watching it and thinking, we weren't so bad!! We were quite good!! It is amazing the perception you have when you are younger, huh!! Anyhow, we also just took some very special people over a cheesecake, whose wife is suffering in intensive care and most likely will not be given much longer here on this earth, if Father is willing. But anyhow, life is full of surprises and up/downturns and it just makes you ponder about this life and it's immense purpose. I, quite frankly, didn't get too involved in the hubbub of this season, in fact, Walmart and Maceys were both so crowded it was hard to get around, so I just gathered a few things and off I went. As you can tell, I am just babbling! But one of my most favorite things to receive at Christmas time is cards and letters! I LOVE it and I'm noticing people starting to take the easy way out and sending E-cards, I sure hope it doesn't take hold. Anyhow, my mind is qute scattered right now, I think I'll go sit by my tree and read more of the Ensign and the scriptures, I need organization, I guess, so I will make more sense to you later, or should I say to myself!
Merry Christmas Eve!

Deep thoughts!

Wow, I have been busy and haven't taken the time, at all, to write here or in my fitness blog for a couple of months. But, the reality is who cares.
Okay, so my mind has been processing or contemplating some things as of late, now that I'm not teaching and thinking of that! It is simply, being beautiful from the inside out! Using our lips to speak kindly of one another and lifting others when they are down. Our eyes for viewing virtuous things and for seeing the good in others. Our ears for hearing what others are really trying to say rather then assuming what they are saying, listening with understanding and empathy! Our heart full of charity and a pure love, one that prays for our enemies and seeks through pure intentions to bless the lives of others. Our hands, that they may lay their fingers on every "good thing" may it be reading good books or doing good things for others. May they always stay clean. Our feet that they may rush to help, or walk a path that is narrow staying close to the Lord by walking the path of returning to Him. Our bowels, may be filled with proper nourishment so we can run and not be weary and walk and not faint! Our shoulders, that I can carry the burdens placed upon them with grace and gratitude, maybe carry the burdens of others for a time to help them. Anyhow, those thoughts have come to me recently and as I have pondered them I realize I have much to give and desire to become!

Sounds like hard work to me, and that it is!
